DLT cookbook - old but still valid for learning how to configure 3rd party tape drives on Suns.

I wrote a cookbook on how to connect DLT's to Sun's some years ago when DLT was not supported (at least not very good) by Sun. The situation has obviously changed and later Solaris releases (>= 8) work out of the box with DLT drives. DLT is now a well established backup technology. My paper can still provide some useful hints for connecting 3rd party tape drives to Sun machines. I have no plans for updating this paper (apart from an html makeover - it will serve well as a test for my stylesheet).
